Evergo celebrates its second anniversary by installing its charger No. 100 in Panama

With the support of more than 40 allies who share the same vision for a greener world, Evergo has managed to promote electric mobility and inaugurate stations in eight provinces, becoming the largest network in the country, with the largest number of public stations and semi-public. In addition, the brand has more than 400 users who recharge their electric vehicles at Evergo stations and who achieve reliable and sustainable mobility.

Evergo, the most advanced and extensive platform of charging stations for electric vehicles in the country and the region, celebrates its second anniversary, marking a milestone of 100 stations installed at strategic points throughout the national territory.

The most recent level 3 (fast charge) charging station was inaugurated last Friday, October 21, thanks to the alliance with Novey and Cochez, adding 11 chargers both level 2 and level 3, located in branches of the company nationwide. . For his part, Isaac Reyes, Director of Operations at Novey and Cochez, highlighted: "We continue to innovate in Panama by being one of the first companies to provide stations for electric vehicles in our branches, which self-generate a large part of their energy through solar panels".

Evergo has an advanced ecosystem and charging infrastructure that gives new users the confidence to embrace an increasingly environmentally friendly lifestyle. In addition, it encourages the countries where it has a presence to be more innovative and use other technologies to charge cars.

“During these two years, we have managed to avoid the total emission of more than 830 thousand kg of CO2 into the atmosphere in Panama, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. This inauguration of our #100 station together with a company that represents well-being, such as Novey, and that is located in several key points of the country; It will allow its customers to benefit from innovative solutions such as chargers for electric vehicles, which complement their entire experience. At Evergo, we intend to continue promoting sustainable and innovative mobility that connects the entire country and, in the future, the entire region,” said Mónica Lupiáñez, Country Manager of Panama and Director of Renewable Energies at InterEnergy Group.

Within the framework of this second anniversary, they also inaugurated the first charger for electric cars in a municipal institution together with Mayor Miguel Batista of the Municipality of Pedasí; becoming the third charger in the district, after the installation of a station in the Hotel El Sitio and another in Villa Marina in August.

In addition, thanks to the SER program (Supply of Renewable Energy) of its parent company InterEnergy, some partners have charging stations powered by 100% renewable energy, coming from the group's assets: Laudato Si' Wind Farm and Ikakos Solar Park. In Panama, the emission of more than 29 thousand kg of CO2 has been avoided through the Evergo network.
